How does Arkchat support private messaging in groups?

  • Work Tracking Messaging

Arkchat supports private messaging inside group chats by allowing users to choose who should participate in a conversation when sending a message. When a user sends a message in a group, they can either send the message to all members of the group or select specific participants who should be part of the discussion.

For every message sent in Arkchat, the platform automatically creates a message thread. All replies and related conversations then take place within that thread. If the message is sent to the entire group, the thread includes all group members. However, if the sender selects a smaller set of participants — for example 6 people from a group of 120 members — the thread will include only those selected participants. This allows teams to have focused discussions without creating additional chat groups.

At the same time, Arkchat ensures organisational transparency. Even when a conversation is shared only with selected participants, account owners and administrators can still view the conversation. This design allows company leaders to maintain oversight of organisational communication and ensure responsible collaboration while still allowing teams to conduct selective discussions within the same project environment.
